“The hotel premises have gotten old . It is very well located, right on the Lubbock loop, the staff is really amazing and go out of their way to help you out given the current liability situation with the retain heat from the inner rtooms when the A/C units are turned OFF. The heat from the exhaust coming out of the rooms facing on the inside of the hotels and completely retained the generated heat which in turn makes the staff job very difficult because they just can not stop sweating all day long and can be very uncomfortable to perform their jobs and hence help out the paying customers. However, there are signs the a full renovastion is coming and will sooon see the much needed changes that the Hotel demands.”

“Great place, great stay! The staff was very helpful and courteous. They made it a point to explain hotel was under renovation which you could tell as you walked around. It’s coming along very nicely! The sinking pool was on point and very clean. Our room was cool upon entering it and very comfortable. Could hand used a softer bed lol but all was good! We will Definitely come back! Great job Lubbock Regency staff!!”

“Pool was out of service supposedly due to lightning. It was not even raining and my grandkids were upset”

“The room was reasonably clean. The floor had a little residue from not wringing the mop sufficiently (mopping too wet), which is very common. The mattress needed to be turned or replaced. The fridge froze everything, and changing the temperature control didn't help. All that needs to be kept in perspective, since this is a very reasonably priced hotel. On the positive side, the microwave worked well, the tv worked, and the shower was nice. We didn't try the pool, but it looked nice. Overall, we were satisfied because we were able to rest just fine.”

“While at this property, my daughter's basketball team had a block of rooms, one room with a dead mouse in it. The GM was quick to apologize and offer a refund as we checked out within the hour of checking in. Also while trying to leave, there was intense rain. The entire entry way of this hotel collapsed and had water every where. I know this property is under new management and I truly hope whomever is tasked with that role can help get this place back in order with the potential it has.”

“The room was very clean although maintenance to the building was in progress. The staff was extremely helpful. AC was very cold. I would stay here again.”
