Negative: Bathroom was not the best and cleanest. No ventilation, all wet from shower. We didnt like the dinner at all :( breakfast was ok.

Although the road to the reservoir is one long construction site and is heavily frequented by construction vehicles and tourist buses during the day, I was surprised that the property was dust-free. The members of the family who run the place were all very helpful and courteous. The room was spacious, functionally furnished and very clean.
A highlight for us was the rich and varied breakfast with homemade products – a real treat for the palate.
The location of the accommodation is perfect for getting to the ferry terminal the next morning with a short 5-minute drive.

The staff was friendly and helpful.
Negative:
The shower ended up getting everything wet in the bathroom since it is open, not contained. Electricity was out on both days due to storms in the area, for several hours at a time.
Breakfast was ok, although inconsistent day to day. We had dinner one night and it was not good... ordered veal, and it was the toughest piece of meat we've ever had. We were told that they "fry" all the meat.
We don't care, but others might, there is no TV in the room. Rooms are very basic. There might be better options.

A great functional family run hotel for onward travel to the Lake (10mins drive). Really clean, spacious and comfortable. The lady that runs the place was so friendly and helpful - from being there first thing for the early ferry departure breakfast, to the evening meal run there too. She kindly let us use her washing machine which was much appreciated after our first week of travelling around as a family of 4. We ate dinner here and it was a simple menu but delicious. Parking there too is easy.
One thing to note, it takes about 1 1/2hr to travel the last 25k to the accommodation from the main road (which eventually leads onto the lake) and it is off road to say the least… pot holes, unpaved and very rough with a few steep drops and hairpin bends thrown in. The road is under construction apparently, so scattered with JCB’s to navigate around too. It is definitely quite an experience and it is very nice to get out the car when you arrive!
Lake day tour is well worth it with (amazing lunch!) and we paid the extra to visit Shala Beach (even if it is a little over touristy). We then took the Car Ferry to Fierze the next day which is another great experience too and incredible scenery.
Summary: Really clean, functional and friendly hotel
