“The Ly Hotel is a nice, comfortable, quiet hotel in Queens. We stayed there for one Saturday night in August and had a very good experience.”

“Stayed 4 nights here and absolutely would come back again. Beds are SO comfortable, and there are a lot of upgraded features you normally don't see at this price point. Amazing shower (heated towel rack!), very clean, and sizable room (we had a 2 bed) for NYC. Lobby is also super nice and there's a laundrymat connected next door and also a nice ramen place inside at the lobby. Definitely coming back when in town - staff was so nice as well!”

“The room was falling apart. Floor was chipping in multiple places. Moldy/musty smell in room and hallway immediately exiting the elevator. Very dirty floors in hall and in room.”

“3/5 stars — Convenient, but don’t expect the brochure We booked this hotel mainly for its proximity to LaGuardia, and on that front, it delivers — you can’t beat the location if you’ve got an early flight or a late landing. Having food on-site was a nice bonus going in. That said, a few things kept this from being a great stay rather than just a convenient one:     •    The food: On-site dining sounds fancier in the description than it actually is. In practice, it’s fast-food-ish — fine in a pinch, but don’t go in expecting a “phenomenal restaurant” like the marketing suggests.     •    The gym: Poorly ventilated, and BYO-everything — no wipes, no towels, no water available. Equipment-wise it’s serviceable (a couple of treadmills, some free weights, and a couple of decent pulley machines), just don’t expect any amenities to go with it.     •    WiFi: Spotty throughout the hotel, and completely absent in the gym, so if you’re hoping to stream your Peloton class, bring your own hotspot.     •    Bathroom: The mirror has a stylish light-up border, but there’s no actual usable lighting if you need to shave or get ready — form over function here.     •    Shower curtain: Overdue for a replacement. Overall: great if you just need a bed near the airport, but the amenities don’t live up to the pitch. Not a lot in the neighborhood (very industrial), but a there is a really great Greek Kitchen nearby, and a 7-11.”
