Maasai Simba Camp Reviews
“The highlight of our 9 nights stay in a "warrior appartement " were the meals , which we took in a separat dinning hut. Mr Brian , the chef. served a a nice rice breakfast ! In most cases the lunch was just OK , and the dinner was sometimes excellent and sometimes average. After l complained about cold soupes for dinner , they were served nice and hot ! Mr. Tom showed me around the enviroment , where we spotted Giraffes , Zebras , Gazelles and warthoges on a 2 hour walk. As well Mr. Brian took us out on a wild-life hike. It, s possible to rent a 26 inch bike for riding the roads around the camp , if they were not in too muddy condition... The nights were quiet , sometimes a fire was lit at the fireplace in the camps center.”
“Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience.”
