Reviewer Type: Extended Group
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very comfy place. New and very clean. Fully operational kitchen, toaster, coffee machine. Even a washing machine too.
In the very center of a quiet town town, walking distance to bars, restaurants, bakeries and a Lidl Supermarket. There are Aldi and Leclerq hipermarkets on the outskirts. Easy parking close to the house.
Great base to all the great spots on the Dordogne area.
Outstanding value for money. Would go back any time again.

Positive: It was exceptionally clean. With everything we needed. Including towels, hair dryer and a coffee machine which was great.
Negative: Unfortunately we had an issue with the hot water which meant no one could shower following a pool party we had attended as the boilers had been unplugged. The hosts did give instructions on how to rectify the problem. But this didn't heat the water sufficiently.

Positive: The property was great! Nicely compact and had everything we needed. No good if you have accessibility issues, but this is made very clear from the description and the photos, so all good! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. The village of Souillac is beautiful, with great cafes, grocery shops and a wonderful patisserie within walking distance nearby. We had a great time.
Negative: Struggling to think of anything to say... Our luggage was lost by the airline, so a UK plug adapter would have been useful so we could charge phones. Had our luggage arrived with us, this wouldn't have been a problem, as we had packed some.
Summary: Lovely property; friendly, helpful hosts; beautiful village. Great time!
