Positive: Owner was very pleasant. The kitchenette was very well equipped and we appreciated being able to prepare our meals. The "cottage" was a bit small but functional. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Location is good for touring the Normandy landing beaches.
Negative: The black mold in the bathroom was off-putting, as well as the huge spider and slug. The resident wildlife was interesting, but crowing roosters all day long and birds sitting and relieving themselves on our doorstep was not appreciated.
Summary: Okay if you like wildlife, but not for us

Positive:
The location was good. We stayed here for the 'countryside' experience and the grandkids LOVED seeing the ducks, chickens and the sheep! We live on a farm in the USA, and it was fun to stay in a former dairy and horse barn!! Such a unique experience to have while we were in France.
Negative:
Unfortunately we got there late in the day at almost dark, so didn't get to see much. It had been rainy, so was a bit muddy. We had a little trouble with the heater in the small two-person room, but a comfy cover on the bed was welcome!
Summary: It was a delightful experience in the French countryside!
