Manor Hotel | Hotel in Exmouth, England

Manor Hotel is a historic hotel in Exmouth, set in a Coaching Inn that dates to the 1790s and run with a family feel. It places you in the center of town with Exmouth Rail Station a short walk away, and with the marina and the local beach less than five minutes on foot. From here, the setting is practical and easy to read, with Sandy Park and Exeter also within straightforward reach. Most rooms look toward the sea, giving the stay a clear sense of place without asking you to give up city access. The experience is shaped by private bathrooms, free high speed WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms, with hairdryers and free toiletries provided as well. Some rooms sit in the eaves, so the atmosphere can feel especially characterful and, in a few cases, more intimate under sloping ceilings. Shared spaces add to the rhythm of the hotel, starting with a lounge bar that gives you a relaxed spot to pause between plans. There is also a restaurant on site, along with parking, though spaces are limited and a surcharge applies. For added ease, the property offers accessibility features, guest services, security and safety measures, and entertainment and sports activities among its amenities, with heating and ocean view options where available. Staying at Manor Hotel means being close to Exmouth’s everyday movement while sleeping in a place that still carries the structure and presence of a much older building. It feels direct, well located, and distinctly tied to its setting.
