Positive: The property was clean and tidy. There were lots of little ‘extras’ provided. For example there was milk in the fridge, sachets of coffee, hot chocolate etc, and in the bathroom shower caps, make up wipes and very nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was also lovely to stay somewhere that had a full set of matching crockery and cutlery.
Negative: The approach is a bit off-putting - basically a back alley with loads of wheely bins. There isn’t truthfully much that can be done about it, but it isn’t the best “first sight” of the property. From the description we were expecting a closer view of the sea, the view was okay, but I was hoping to be closer. The description also mentioned an area for sitting out to relax, but it isn’t currently a place where you could sit and relax.
Summary: Nice property to relax in, located in a very nice small town.

Positive: Location excellent for what we wanted, perfect size property with good facilities - everything we needed for a home away from home! We were able to do everything we wanted and not be faced with noise from anywhere else, a nice apartment in a nice quiet part of the Northumberland coastline.
Negative: Entry to property is misleading - you are greeted by back alley with scattered dustbins BUT this should not detract from overall property once inside. Yard needs attention if people want to use it but is a little disconcerting that the neighbours bathroom is overlooked by yard, meaning felt awkward using it. We also had issues with most of condiments etc that had been left were up to a year out of date - messaged owner but never had reply so left bagged for them with a note. Cleaning company also need to tackle high corners in living room and low cupboard corners in kitchen for dusty cobwebs - once seen cannot unsee but again did not detract from stay. Things we did not like would not detract from us returning as not critical.
Summary: Lovely place to stay, both inside and out.

Very Clean & well decorated.
The yard really needed attention in terms of cleanliness and the window to the neighbour’s bathroom disconcerting.

Huge bed, comfortable big sofa and armchair, good heating, lovely bedding, good bathroom, excellent utensils in the kitchen, fantastic level of detail, even filter coffee, olive oil, condiments, washing pods for the washing machine... Everything looked great, so carefully thought out and beautiful. Quiet location but next to shops. I would definitely recommend this place.
Negative:
The little outdoor space could be more welcoming. The bed has started sagging towards the middle but it is still comfortable.

Very cosy holiday home with views of the Marina and Warkworth Castle. Furnished to a high standard, very clean, comfortable beds , plenty of hot water and well equipped kitchen. Lovely toiletries to use. A great base to explore the Northumberland coast.
Negative:
No onsite parking but carpark close by plus on street parking available a few minutes walk away.

The property exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness and attention to retail were quite exceptional and the views of the Marina were superb.
All of us had good quality sleep, in quite luxurious beds and the kitchen and bathroom facilities made our stay very comfortable.
