“This lodge is really beautiful and calm. Our cabin was large, clean and comfortable. The bar and pool area were great, and the meals were very good. The staff were excellent, particularly the restaurant and bar staff. The game drive was expensive as the rate recently went up by 50%. There are some short hikes that you can do around the lodge which are nice.”

“Amazing area of Zimbabwe. Lodges comfortable, but need updates, bathroom was dated and shower extremely small and narrow, as water is an issue perhaps get rid of the bath and enlarge the shower. Tiles and bathroom floor need a good scrub - we had mould.. beds were comfortable, and it would have been nice to have seating outside our lodge to take in the views. Overall an enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. all cooked on open fires the chef is amazingly talented considering he has to work with the vagaries of a fire and not temp controlled oven/ hob!.the swimming pool could also do with a clean/scrub, the floor was slimy but welcome after a hot afternoon drive and walk. Communal toilets near bar and dining area need to have soap provided. Small details which management need to pick up on. Staff attentive and welcoming. We would still recommend”
