“Everyone was friendly as soon as I arrived until the day I left. No complaints on my end, thank you to all staff for what you do. Room was comfortable, food was good.”

“Drab paint, flooring. Some mold, rust in bath. Tiny TV. Seemed like a $200 Hotel infrastructure with $60 rooms.”

“Nice and friendly staff very good people, Check in took a long time there was only one person at counter at 4pm, she did an awesome job but needed help no one stepped in. We stayed in a suite not very good, windows to big let in all the heat in the room curtians in the in the room did not cover the ends woke up to blinding light in the morning ,air conditioning not working so well, sink only let out a little bit of water room had an odor, the couch was very uncomfortable and wore out, for the price I guess you get what you pay for was not very Elegant. Can't express how good the staff was”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Pool was relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful with good variety of food. Only issue overall was non- functioning ice makers - however, bar and restaurant staff would fill ice buckets. ”

“The reason we go to MCM properties is their staff is always the best. Though no fault of their own this property in Lubbock needs to be updated bad. It’s just showing its age a little bit. It was clean don’t get me wrong. Just very old plumbing. The drains were slow and toilets flushed weird. Staff is the saving grace. Those people are awesome always, from the cleaning lady, to the front desk clerk, to the omelette lady. They always make you feel right at home no matter the circumstances.”

“Connie in the office was very friendly and helpful- we had an issue and she fixed it quickly. Pool was closed for “routine maintenance” not good considering I book hotels FOR the pools so that we have entertainment for the kids. If it’s routine- it should be noted when booking, as we would have stayed somewhere else. Breakfast was ok- better than basic. Sweet staff. Shower was perfect- and beds were decently comfortable. I learned that all MCM Elegantes are not all created equal- this one is pretty outdated and needs some work”

“The shower didn't drain and the toilet kinda flushed. I think that if they would see to these two items, I would be more impressed. But the people were all super helpful, and probably if I had mentioned it, they would have worked on it immediately, hah. Unfortunately we were only there for a short time. I was happy with the granola and bacon at breakfast too!”
