“We stayed one night while on our way to McCarthy. The area offered beautiful surroundings, a calm lake to paddle around on and area to hike around the lake. The rooms were very nicely decorated but no running water in the room. The restroom and shower cabin was a shared building but each bathroom had a private assigned stall. This was an interesting rustic concept but for a longer stay this would not be a good option for me. Not a deal breaker but just a FYI. They did provide a nice breakfast box in the morning as part of the experience. ”

“I would not have booked this stay had I known that there was no water at the cabin. It was a walk to the shower room for the sink and toilet too.”

“This place is really special. It’s for the adventurous. The lake is stunning and the facilities are beautiful. Staff was excellent. We had such a good time here and felt well taken care of. I could come back here for a week just to read!!”
