“The owners were lovely and helpful and the rooms were cheaper than most accommodation, however the property is very run down and very basic. You get what you pay for. Still has original 1970s fittings, curtains were dirty and coming off hooks. Walls and doors had dents and chips. I opened up the bedding to get in and found long black hairs through my bed. Turns out my parents in the room beside me had the same in their bed. The owner was very apologetic, helpful and provided new clean sheets. We stayed to have close access to Casey Hospital in Berwick and unfortunately there were not many accommodation options around the area.”

“OK for the price. Needs a lot of maintenance as is very rundown. Bathroom door wouldnt close - latch broken. Split system wouldnt heat room - needs filters etc cleaned. Could do with a coat of paint etc.”
