Midlands Park Hotel | Hotel in Portlaoise, County Laois

“Parking is way too expensive. €22 per car.”

“NO HOTEL PARKING. The hotel does nor Have its own parking so the options were limited to either unsecure on-street parking (which had to be moved by 9am) or a multi-storey car park charging €22 per night.”

“Was there on business so location was handy. Old fashio decor and first room had a shocking smell so had to move room. Staff very helpful and food was nice”

“Very happy staying there.”

“Good night nice food and comfortable bed”

“Lovely staff and great food but was charged twice to my card before id even arrived, when I had booked to pay at the hotel. The staff were really kind and helpful and did what they could to reassure me they would solve it but I’ve still not recieved my refund. I’m down a lot of money that should never have been taken and it’s been 3 days so far. My room was a little tatty, hairs all in the bathtub, stains on the bed linen, loo roll half full etc.. overall I wasn’t thrilled but I certainly would have been a lot happier if I wasn’t charged twice and still waiting for my refund. As it currently stands I’ve paid nearly £300 for a room that was very basic and it was taken without my approval .”

“Everything was perfect the couples deluxe rooms are amazing and everything was so well prepared and very clean , bed extremely comfortable, staff are so accommodating everywhere in the hotel and breakfast is definitely recommended it’s delicious! Gorgeous pool area with modern and practical changing rooms too , will definitely be returning!!”
