MIDWAY MOTEL Reviews
Summary: This property was fairly clean, but pretty dated and the transition from carpet to tile had carpet tacks sticking up that pierced the bottom of our feet until we threw a bath towel over it. I believe we were in unit 6.

Summary: The Midway Motel does need some refurbishing and It appears that it is happening slowly. The room was very clean, no complaints there. The Television didn't work and the manager was out of town for the day so nobody could come to fix it. Same thing the next day. When the manager returned, he was at my door ASAP. He was terrific. He was far more savy than I would every be but needed to contaonding to the Remote. So although two days without TV it was fixed.

Summary: This is a typical roadside motel with units 1-10 side by side. It is clean and roomy. The staff friendly and helpful though we didn’t really interact much. The bed was large and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small working refrigerator (with small freezer that worked really well). The motel is Dog friendly. The downside: There was no hair dryer in the room. 1 ply toilet paper. AC window unit poorly fit into the wall. Ugly green bathroom paint (like from a grade school color and poorly applied). We slept well. Don’t expect luxury but a useable space for sleeping.
