Summary: We stayed 2 nights in a Garden View room; heed the warning when booking- there is no elevator to these rooms! There are 2 long staircases. We were fine navigating & carrying our own luggage, but beware if you have mobility issues. I did notice 2 older women checking out down the hall; a staff person was taking their bags to the lobby for them. Garden View rooms are in the older part of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, but a little tired. Nice quality bedding & bath linens. Plentiful pillows! They do use feather pillows & bedding, so if you are allergic (I am) call ahead so they can make up your room feather-free. The bathroom really needs a make-over; clean, but chipped tile and just visual wear & tear.
We were returning to our decades-long hometown for a visit after living out of state a few years. The Molly Pitcher did not disappoint. You cannot beat the view from the terrace & dining room, and our dinner was delicious; we appreciated our server allowing us to relax and talk at great length with old friends over dinner without rushing us. Complimentary coffee in the bar each morning-which was enjoyed outdoors on the terrace gazing at the Navesink River. The outdoor pool was so relaxing; 2 plush towels, plenty of lounge chairs to choose from and a poolside bar for cold drinks and snacks. Easy walking distance to shops/restaurants-don’t miss Birravino right across the street for authentic old world Italian and great wines; try Big Vic’s meatballs!

Summary: The property is impressive and located by the waterfront. It has that old age charm in plenty. Staff are helpful and place is clean. Very accessible to nearby restaurants and center of town. Ample parking.
BUT, the hotel needs maintenance. The doors are not sound proof. It is a place that attracts weddings and celebrations. The doors to the bathroom do not close properly. The room had too much furniture and absolutely no room to move.
It is common to have a small fridge in rooms in top rated hotels even in the basic room category. Here, even though the staff was willing to give us the fridge (complimentary), there was no room to place it! The bathtub and the shower head are outdated.
Thankfully, we were staying there just for 2 nights and were out of the room most of the day. The few hours we did spend, it was impossible to get any rest as the happy crowd living on the same floor were celebrating and were loud as they walked up and down the corridors.. while their euphoria was expected, we could not rest.
The rooms need a makeover.

Summary: It was very nice but pur room had no elevator to our floor and it was a hike. Very confusing layout. The hotel was a bit of a maze but it was a very nice room and very private it seemed like no noone else was anywhere near us. ...it may be possible there was no one there

Summary: From the moment we arrived at the Molly Pitcher inn till we left. The experience was excellent. The valet parking person, the front desk staff, the servers, and personnel could not do enough to make our stay positive. All staff went out of their way to assist and overall make it a very positive experience
