Montebello  |  Bed & Breakfast in Lecco

This is my first time coming to this town and this place that we stay in it. It was in my opinion the best of the best the view, the hospitality and the warmth the owner showed to his guest. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel view was amazing, probably one of the best in Lecco. The rooms were clean and AC was good. However, there was a lot of rules we didn’t know about, for example we weren’t able to use any glasses or things from the kitchen, and the pool was only open between 10-12 and 16-20. Also, the hotel was very far up and the bus didn’t go that often, so the hotel is probably more suitable if you have a car.

The view from the balcony across Lago di Como was amazing, but the condition of the room was not the best, the breakfast was

Stayed here for a really enjoyable week. amazing views , lovely pool and gardens to relax in if you don't fancy venturing out , lele the owner is really friendly and more than happy to help with anything he can , simple but sufficient continental breakfast and clean rooms, location is about 15 min walk from the train station or decent restaurants , we walked most days however if we had a busy day we got a taxi back up for roughly 10 euros, hoping to go back next year :) If your looking for a hotel with restaurant etc this place is not for you, if your looking for a nice quiet place with amazing views, a pool and lovely people you won't better it in Lecco

We were greeted warmly and helped to navigate the surroundings as newcomers to Lecco. I can’t imagine a better place to stay and sit with a view of the beautiful surroundings. We love to walk and it was easy to get to cafes and eateries along the lake. We WILL be back.

fantastic spot, really nice view and affordable. The room was very nice. I reccomend for students, couples and solo travellers.You have to go up a little bit, but it's worth it.

The hotel is lovely with a pool, but the rooms do not have A/C. It was very hot, our room had a balcony and a fan. There is parking. The other problem was- no lights to get in at night. You have to enter a code into a keypad, and you could not see it. The owner is very nice and friendly. Breakfast was very generous. It sits on a hill with a view of Lake Como.

The view from the hotel is amazing and the pool was nice. Be aware that there is no air conditioning. Rooms are very basic and no room service even though the description said once per stay (we stayed 4 nights). The breakfast consisted mostly of prepackaged sweet pastries and we got the same loaf of bread every day which was getting pretty stale at the end of our stay. As far as location, there is really nothing within a reasonable walking distance. approx 30 min walk to Lecco center and most restaurants.
