Summary: So in Corfe property is very expensive, so Morton Manor Hotel sits in this environment.
The stay is on the top end of cost and for what you pay for our stay was okay.
Value for money.... probably not... the rooms require subtle AirCon... small fridge and room safe perhaps... the staff were very attentive and helpful.
The hotel is very well situated for Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Railway, quaint village.
Studland, Swanage all in close distance with regular bus service and car accessibility.
Monkey World,Bovingdon Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove Durdle Door and Blue Pool close proximity by car.
With some improvement Morton Manor could regain its value for money and maintain its prominence as the place to stay.

Summary: Great location for this hotel in centre of Corfe Castle with parking which is a plus as the village doesn’t have many places to park. We booked a garden room for two nights and were a little disappointed as the garden rooms are all described as spacious and within their own walled garden. The photo shown on their website does not in any way look the same as the one we had. The room we were given was very small and dark and had tiny awning windows. In the recent heat it was impossible to breathe with no air circulating due to the room overlooking a covered area and with small awning windows that hardly opened. A fan was provided but the cable was too short and there were no sockets near enough to plug the fan in front of the bed. I had paid the same as others in garden rooms but think we were short changed in size as there was only enough room to walk around the bed. We dined in the restaurant on the first night and were shown to a room (not the restaurant) and had to ask to be seated and order taken 30 minutes after our booking time! No idea why we weren’t taken to the table at time we booked. We had booked the first sitting so expected to be seated then - maybe staff should be better instructed. The food however was excellent and so was the freshly cooked breakfast. The best member of staff was the young girl on our second morning at breakfast. She looked after us and made sure we all had our breakfast ordered in good time.

Summary: Lovely location. Friendly welcoming staff. Great guest experience from all members of staff. Fabulous food and beverages. Would definitely stay there again.
Negatives if I'm being picky: We had to ask for sugar at breakfast every day and butter once. Trivial compared to the overall experience.
