“Here’s a polished review that keeps your tone honest but fair:
I booked this Motel 6 in Tulare because I was being budget conscious and honestly did not have high expectations going in. I have stayed at Motel 6 properties across the country, but this was definitely one of my least favorable experiences.
The staff was friendly and seemed to be as helpful as they could be, but the property itself was not well maintained. More concerning was the activity around the grounds and parking lot, which made me feel uneasy. I saw Tulare police drive through the parking lot at least twice during my stay, which only reinforced the concerns I already had about what I was seeing.
As a single female traveler, I would not recommend this location. There was a lot of traffic outside my door throughout the night, and I had a very hard time sleeping because I did not feel fully comfortable or settled. By the next morning, I was more than ready to check out.
Next time, I would rather pay a little more to stay somewhere down the road for peace of mind.”
