Motel 8 | Hotel in Maricopa, California

“I have stayed at this motel before and never had any problems. But upon this visit there was a large party of 6-8 who arrived at the motel that evening around 8pm. They ended up drinking and playing loud music in the parking lot, creating noise at the expense of the other guest staying at the motel. I never saw any effort by staff to stop this party. I ended up cutting my visit short and left the premises to head home in Los Angeles. As I drove by the party partying in the Motel's parking lot I told them they were very inconsiderate to make such noise with other paying guest at the motel. I was given an apology then someone swore at me. I will never stay at the Motel again. The staff did not do their job.”

“Air conditioning effective, staff helpful, parking convenient and safe, and room clean. It's an older property and I loved the uniqueness of the room! King bed, sofa, desk, easy chair, refrigerator and microwave. Fly in the ointment - no coffee in the room, but fear not - it's in the office. ”

“It was a clean room, microwave worked to make us breakfast, convenient location to visit Carrizo plain park. Late check in was no hassle.”

“Average hotel in an out of the way location. Nothing stood out good or bad. It was a good place to get a good night’s rest. No frills. The pool is a nice size. No fences, trees, or buildings blocking the sun. No breezes giving you unwanted chills. ”

“Very friendly staff. room was run down. Needed new paint and carpet had several stains. beds not very cozy. Was much cleaner when we stayed 3 years ago. Like it is now I would not recommend staying here.”

“The room was spacious but in neèd of some updating. For example, the furnishings were showing wear. Some expected items for a hotel stay were not in the room, for example, bathroom tissue. Also, some maintenance items were completed at a subaverage level; ie, bathroom caulking. Parking and overall facility were fine.”
