Motel On Alpine | Hotel in Myrtleford, Victoria

“Excellent motel, extremely quiet even though on a main road, very close to a good restaurant (although it is not open on Monday and Tuesday night) and the centre of town is only 5 minutes drive with good restaurants and cafes. Ovens River Parkrun is excellent and starts in the park across the road.”

“On the edge of town but close enough that it's a nice walk in for dinner. Quiet accommodation, clean rooms, check-in was simple. ”

“Good location good room, toilet and shower well below par.”

“Great place”

“Very clean accomodation, the workers were beautiful and always tentative to any queries we had. Always nice coming here ”

“Very clean, very well resourced. Would stay again. Sorry about my daughters fake tan on the sheets”

“the whole experience/stay is not as good as expected from the reviews i've seen. Reception has cold manner, shower head has weak water, AC is very old and LOUD, which kept us awake for the better half of the night”

“Everything was fine, very clean and tidy, very friendly staff members. The only thing was the drainage in our first day it was blocked and the worst thing was when you took a shower water popping up from the sink inside the kitchen.”

“I have stayed at this property prior on 3 occasions. There are now new owners, the facilities were not kept clean, the BBQ area needed us to clean it and the pool was not cleaned daily, the standards have well and truly dropped. What used to be a great afffordable place that was so good now feels like you pay for what you get! We went with family and had in total 4 rooms, all of the other rooms were clean, modernised and acceptable however we had room 12 that was in a very poor state, felt like we stepped back into the 70’s and really not a great experience. Unfortunately I won’t be going back here unless there is a big shift in how it operates. Such a shame, what was a gem is now far from it”

“The room was well presented but the bathroom had long black hairs all over the floor. The walls are thin so you hear everything going on in next room. ”
