“Overall, we had an okay experience at Motel R-100. Firstly, it is commendable for the front desk to book us in a non-smoking room since we accidentally booked a 'smoking' one. The bedsheets and whole bathroom was very clean, which is what mattered the most for us since we were mostly outside and only intended to shower and sleep in the place. However for those who'd spend longer times indoors, it may be a different experience. For instance, the couches made us feel itchy and the corner floor areas behind the bed were really dusty and dirty. So if you dropped something there like we did, it's not a pleasant thing to go through. Additionally, the only amenities provided in the room were towels, soaps, and shampoo - no water or anything else, so be prepared at the very least to have sufficient water with you. They also have a small fridge and microwave, if that helps. One thing that we personally disliked was that while we were outside during the day, the cleaning lady came into our room to clean a bit and replace some things. We noticed these when we came back and while this is appreciated, we didn't feel safe about the fact that someone just came in while we were gone (unbeknowst to our knowledge since we did not request for a room cleaning/service) because we left some valuables behind, with no safe to put them in. They also came knocking loudly at some point one morning to clean while we were still asleep, which caused us some disturbance.”

“As the daily room rate was pretty fantastic for this particular Montreal event weekend, we are willing to overlook minor deficiencies. Our room had the important amenities: a good little fridge, microwave, clean towels, linen and the room service was great. There was some initial confusion with our reservation, however, the manager went out of his way to ensure that our stay was comfortable.”
