“We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!”

“It was an old building that was okay but not well-maintained. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly, despite their limited English. The great bonus was the onsen (hot spring). The room was very big—almost three times the size of other rooms we stayed in during our visit to Japan. However, the location was not good at all, being next to a busy highway and very far from the old town or Nara Park.”
