“BATHROOM WAS SPOTLESS...I CLEAN FOR A LIVING AND BATHROOMS ARE THE FIRST THING I LOOK AT.”

“Breakfast was fair, not too tasty. Stayed 3 nights. Housekeeping never entered our room to replace towels or make bed. Sign said leave towels on floor if want replaced. Nobody ever came in to see what was put on the floor.”

“It is a very good property without entering Munising. North Star has a strategic location. Everything is very close. Staff is cooperative. Good breakfast. Overall an enjoyable stay.”

“This was a nice place to stop. Jhae was very helpful at check in. Breakfast was as expected, hot and cold items. We did not use the hot tub or sauna. The exercise equipment was the same room as the hot tub and looked as though the moisture was affecting the treadmill and elliptical. However, it was nice to have the options available to us.”

“SPOTLESSLY CLEAN quiet room with very comfortable beds. Microwave and larger “dorm” sized refrigerator/freezer were also both spotlessly clean. DOVE products for toiletries which was fantastic. Wonderful breakfast: sausage gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, etc. The staff is very helpful and we received FRIENDLY and SUPERIOR assistance from Jay..always with her wonderful smile..THANK YOU. Hotel is very close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and has a gas station across the street to make refueling a breeze. Has coin operated washing machine and dryer for $2 each but no change machine so make sure to bring your own quarters (both machines were spotlessly clean). This is our second multiple day stay at this hotel and it has been rock solid on both occasions. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.”

“Room was clean and very quiet even though we were right next to the check in desk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent room for the price as most hotels in the area were way more expensive.”

“The room was nice and spacious. We got a suite. It was clean and well maintained…except the air conditioning. We could not get it to stay on. We ended up staying 3 nights: the first night I was up every 20 minutes trying to get it to turn back on. Told staff and they “fixed it”. Next night, slightly better because I figured out if I turned it off and back on again every half hour it would run for 5-10 minutes. Told staff again. They fixed it. 3rd night even the reset didn’t work, opened the window and hoped for the best. Breakfast would have been great because what food was there was delicious but the person who runs it was not friendly or helpful (compared to the super friendly and helpful front desk). When asking for more spoons, she just said we don’t have any and walked away. Told her both juices were just running water and she didn’t respond and walked away. Maybe they are short staffed and she was too busy but that’s a management issue to solve.”
