“Nice, clean and simple. Easy to access. Great view to the mountains. Nothing bad to say about this hotel - except that it’s the most expensive 2-stars hotel I have ever stayed in. But that’s just the price level in this area and at this time of the year. So apart from that it’s just very recommendable.”

“We stayed here for 3 nights to attend our son’s wedding. We had 7 rooms booked for the various guests and everyone was happy. We loved the balcony views from 3 of our rooms. We ate at and enjoyed our supper meals at the Bankhead restaurant. Guests get 15% off but need to get coupon from front desk. We weren’t originally told but one in our group was. There are no elevators and no included breakfast but we were aware of that prior to arrival. Location is excellent for walking around Canmore or driving to Banff. Misty at the front desk was especially helpful. Great value and nice place for the area.”

“We had just come from another hotel in the immediate area. This one was quite basic and plain! It had the amenities needed but quite unappealing and cold feeling! Lots of marks on doors, walls etc. patched holes, roughed up doors. We paid.close to $500. For each of the places we stayed and this one didn’t compare in appeal and comfort! Anne McGregor”

“Getting the TV to pair with our devices didn't work. Worst than that is the staff had no clue how do fix it, nor did they take much interest in anything else. When entering the hotel the front staff didn't say hello or even acknowledge our presence. The hotel felt cold and drab. It is almost like the owners reduced staff as much as possible. Perhaps setting up the hotel to run 100% automated. I am sure there are better places to stay in Canmore AB for the money. Very dissapointed.”

“Location, location, location. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony facing an awesome view of the mountains. Just about less than 20 minutes drive to Banff. I definitely recommend this hotel.”
