Nussbaum Panzió | House in Keszthely

“The main attraction here is the location, next to the Balaton. People tend to stay little time in the hotel. This place is good enough for sleeping and having a shower. There is no breakfast, although I was directed to a nearby hotel for it, so kinda solvable. The room costs the same money as a super clean apartment next to the Adriatic Sea with kitchen and A/C. There is no A/C here by the way, which is unfortunate at summer time. Overall, it is Okay, but overprices by the same margin as everything else next to Balaton. ”

“If I traveled to Keszthely again, I would pick the same place. The owners were very hospitable and very helpful in arranging extra activities, like our bike rental. Practical bonuses: a fridge in the room, a coffee maker in the main hall, complimentary tea and coffee; all making it possible to grab a snack before going out in the morning. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, whereas the lake, the beach and the center of Keszthely are within a walking distance. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who's planning to spend the most of their Balaton time outdoors, but still needs a decent and inexpensive place to sleep.”
