“We had a tremendous 2 weeks at Oak Mead and intend to return again next year. Our room was very comfortable with a private balcony overlooking fields and Menna was the perfect hostess; ensuring we had everything we needed. Thank you again Menna :)”

“At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. However, no one did, and our concerns quickly faded. The room itself was beautiful—bright, airy, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the views were absolutely amazing.”

“The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed in the Coach House and what wonderful place to stay. The views are lovely. Watching and interacting with the four horses that are in an enclosed field right next to the apartment was lovely. The apartment is a converted coach house and has loads of character. It's open plan, airy and roomy and has everything available if you want to cook yourself, and it also has a log burner. There's some lovely pubs/ restaurants nearby, our favourite being the Dog & Pickle. Excellent WiFi too.”

“Everything sorted when we arrived. When we had a problem with cooker timer host arranged for an electrician to check asap…on a bank holiday weekend. Hosts very welcoming. Although ‘no housekeeping’ is stated this is the second time we have stayed for more than a week and sheets. And towels have been changed.”
