Summary: The hotel owner controlled the room thermostat remotely and would turn off or increase the temperature every time we changed it. The room was clean, the beach was dirty and the smell was horrific. We could not go outside for the horrible gas from the beach. Melissa the bartender was great. Stephanie the Houskeeper did a wonderful job everyday. The cab service was not on time. The office staff, Nadia was sweet and helpful. I would NEVER stay here again during the sargassum season. We were unable to go outside on a beach vacation and actually enjoy the reason we came. Very disappointing. Wish we would have been told about how toxic the smell of the air would be. It was worse than taking a vacation in the city dump.

Summary: Would stay again, and 100% recommend. Fantastic location, makes everything in Placencia very walkable. Property was clean, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The chalk board welcome with our names was a nice touch. Toucan Jacks, while not a part of the property itself, is an outstanding adjacent business that makes time spent at the property very pleasant. The only complaint is that, at least during our stay, power outages were frequent and daily. They were, however, doing quite a bit of work to keep the property in great shape, (painting roofs, etc.). None of these activities were a disturbance.

Summary: Wow... what a great place. We stayed for 2 weeks and glad we chose somewhere close to everything.. clean. Nice room. Staff amazing !!!
Great little beach bar on site was akso very nice ... we will be back for sure .
