Ochanomizu Inn | Hotel in Yushima, Tokyo

“Great location, less than a five-minute walk from Ochanomizu Station, with easy access to Shinjuku and Tokyo Station. Ochanomizu’s Guitar Street and Jimbocho, with its many good restaurants, are both within walking distance. Kanda Myojin Shrine is nearby, and the historic Yushima Seido Confucian temple is just across the street. The rooms are a little tight, but the staff are wonderful, and the hotel is a great base for exploring Tokyo.”

“Staff is amazing. They are always there and always for help. They are amazing at solving the issues as well. The room was a bit small, but they utilised it amazingly. Many big rooms were not that practical. The price point and service combination make this place somewhere exceptionally remarkable.”

“Staff was very friendly, very helpful. The room was clean, towels replaced promptly each day. The location was excellent. Quiet but within easy walking distance of a great Subway stop and the Akihabara district. Short subway rides to anywhere else I wanted to go. If I get a chance to visit Tokyo again, I would definitely try to book this location again.”

“Clean, free coffee, water in the lobby... Friendly, courteous staff. Breakfast is great. Location is great. Near Ochanomizu stn or Ochanomizu shin stn. Our room was small but we got used to it. Bed is comfortable. Washroom is compact but very good too. Recommend staying here! There were other amenities offered in the lobby that we didn't need but great touch (tooth brush, small towel, hair brush, lotions, etc,)”

“Helpful staff, good breakfast, clean rooms. Beware just how small rooms and bathrooms are, though. I have a few bruises from walking into things. Very very very small. ”

“1. The walls seem to be thin. I can clearly hear when water is flowing and people next door are talking. In the mornings it is especially noisy because you can hear the cleaning staff working on the other rooms. 2. The internet is relatively slow (~13Mbps download), with pretty occasional drops. It's sometimes not sufficient for streaming or reliable work. 3. Good price and good location. Close to both the station and Akihabara. Seems like a nice neighborhood. 4. Room size is alright. Slightly on the smaller side but it's acceptable compared to other hotels in Japan anyway. 5. Free unlimited coffee/tea (and maybe other drinks?) at the lobby. I don't think it is 24/7, but almost. 6. Exactly one elevator. Not the end of the world - just pointing it out.”
