Orchard Cottage Reviews
Reviewer Type: Family With Children
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room and bathrooms were updated (which was surprising for a cottage). Hot tub was a nice touch. Towns nearby had plenty of groceries, pubs and dining options.
Negative: A bit in the middle of nowhere (unless that’s what you’re looking for?) and hard to get to. Was told not to use satnav and use old-school directions provided; I think this should be mitigated.
Summary: I would definitely stay again if I had a good reason to be in the area.

Positive: Beautiful cottage. So clean. Comfortable. So well equipped they had thought of everything. Kind and friendly hosts who live next door. Great welcome basket. Quiet location. Directions to location were excellent.
Negative: The 5pm check in and 10am leaving does cut holiday down a bit and due to location 5pm in winter months poses more of a challenge in finding it BUT they couldn't have been nicer and seeing how clean everything was I totally understand it.
Summary: An amazing place.

Positive: Beautiful cottage with a well equipped kitchen alongside a very kind welcome basket which was very appreicated. The cottege had everything we needed with an array of games and DVDs and the hot tub.
Negative: No real complaints but The TV was a little outdated compared to other places with blurry images on main TV channels and it would have been nice to have more than one double bed.

Positive:
The cottage was immaculately clean, furnished to a high specification and fully equipped. The hosts were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The time they took to greet us and explain how things worked was much appreciated. They were also very generous in the provision of absolutely everything we needed, including items such as dishwasher tablets which you would not normally expect. The welcome basket was full of delicious, luxury goodies many of which were produced locally. Orchard Cottage can be highly recommended, it is certainly the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in and we had a wonderful time.
Negative:
We loved it all.
Summary: A very special place.
