“We experienced a lot of rain when we were there so couldn't spend much time on the grounds. The people were very friendly and accommodating. It's an old farmhouse which was funky (in a good way!) and homey. The bed was not super comfortable. but, overall, the wonderful people who own and work there made it the best!”

“This is a lovely property and large old stone house. The family that runs it is very accommodating and kind. The room was small but clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. A comprehensive breakfast was included as was use of the fridge in the kitchen. It is a bit of a drive to reach the property but easy to follow on a nav system. The WIFI didn’t work and we had to ask to have the heating enabled but still very much worth the stay. ”

“Gorgeous building, lovely wine, a great breakfast and really friendly hosts. However, if you're doing the Camino, it's a beautiful place to stay but Google will not help if you're walking. Ask the owners for directions, or take a cab - it will save you trying to find waterside paths that don't exist and getting lost in the woods!”
