I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff, especially Laurel. Was not happy with the breakfast options as me and my friends do not eat red meat and it was only one option for the eggs with meat in them.

Everything about this place was excellent! Every staff member was cheerful and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location, SO beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and so much better than most places where breakfast is included. The spa looked awesome though we ran out of time to use it (next time we will!) There were thoughtful little touches that impressed us - like buckets of water with windshield scrubbers/squeegees in the parking lot! We were beyond impressed with our stay and will be back!

What a fantastic hotel. All rooms have a front row seat to the amazing Pacific Ocean. Rooms are very large and offer comfy chairs for ocean views. There is a pathway that allows you to walk along the edge and get some exercise. Breakfast is included and is served buffet-style (you go up to a counter and tell the servers what you want). It was fabulous and just what we needed, with plenty of savory and sweet options. We did not use the spa, but it's our understanding that a sauna and swimming pool are available at no charge to guests.

The property is beautiful and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, and they had some vegetarian and vegan options even though it was likely unintentional. Even during the rain, you can sit and watch the ocean or all of the people and/or dogs walking by on the 804 trail. My only regret is that I didn’t think to get a box (or ten) of dog treats on day one of our stay because I could have given hundreds of treats to all of our new little friends we met each day.

Great stay! Right on the 804 whale-watching trail, rooms with views, fantastic staff, and awesome amenities. Breakfast and spa inclusion was a true surprise, and the breakfast is very good. Aspects of our entire stay felt very intentional on the part of the Overleaf: coffee mug warmers, windows to the ocean everywhere (including from the spa), a solid DVD collection for free borrowing, chairs and benches to view the ocean, a camp fire and guided hike...really cool place.

Great stay. Will do it again.

View from room totally amazing! Breakfast could have been better no meat was offer day we were there but this would not stop me from going there again. Staff was great and very well knowledgeable about the area and history

Our only regret is that we only stayed one night.! It was our most favorite stay in many years. The included breakfast was the best unexpected surprise as well. It was all prepared in house, fresh, hot and delicious. Cannot recommend this place more. Wonderful!

Great breakfast, clean rooms, beautiful grounds and ocean views

Amazing experience soaking in the hot baths while watching the sun set over the ocean. Good breakfast and very comfortable room.
