Overlook Mountain Inn | Hotel in Guntersville, Alabama

“We were in town for a concert and were pleased with our stay here. It is an older building but was clean and we had no issues.”

“New owners and in process of upgrading the establishment. Great location and easy access to the hotel.”

“It was an ok stay, nothing to write home about. We just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. It was clean but a little musty smelling. Nothing fancy. Did have a beautiful view from the balcony, but no chairs to sit in on balcony.”

“The room was clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The view is lovely.”

“The room was really stale smelling when I first walked in, but once I got the air going and may be used to it, it wasn’t that bad. The view was more than worth it. Sunset is amazing.”

“Just plan nasty from the steps leading up to the room to the hair in the bath tub didn’t really even sleep glad I had my own blanket in the car to sit on!”

“Overall it was good. Only bad thing was the bathroom floor was not very clean. The staff was very accommodating.”

“It was okay, smelled kind of funny when we first got there. The next morning check out wasn't until 11 but our key quit working at 730 when I tried to go get breakfast. Decent stay for a decent price.”

“Just not one of my better stays overall. I will say first that the staff we met at the front desk and the day of checkout outside were kind and helpful. Next thoughts about the room. The room was not cooled upon entering and unfortunately the wall unit can only do so much to catch up on a 90’s day”

“It is not a 5 star. But for the price it was as clean or cleaner than some more expensive places. The staff was great. They don’t have breakfast and the bathroom is kinda small but they have updated the sink and commode. It doesn’t have carpet on the floor and I liked that because you know that carpet gets really dirty. The pillows or a little flat some bring your on. For the price it was great.”
