Summary: The property is charming, but there are drawbacks. We were in Cabin 1, and I don't know if all the cabins are like this. It has a kitchen with a counter top stove. Because of that there is hardly any counter space, so the microwave is in a lower cabinet. You have to squat on the floor to use it. Very inconvenient. Also, the kitchen wall abuts the bathroom, which makes the bathroom very small. There's only about 1-2 feet between the shower and the sink counter. It's difficult to maneuver in that space.

Summary: Great location just a few minutes drive from the Shakespeare Festival. So nice to have an entire cottage to accommodate kids in their own room/beds. The property was lovely and the pool is amazing! I will stay here again!

Summary: I have stayed at The Palm before and stay was fantastic. The cottage was spotless and warm and inviting. Quiet and peaceful. Will stay again. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Don’t even worry a whim about staying at The Palm Motel. Its location is ideal and air conditioning or heat is great.

Summary: The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we didn't plan to cook any meals but morning tea and coffee were much appreciated. The atmosphere was the best, quirky, retro, but not weirdly so, with peaceful colors and beautiful artwork. The patio area is stunning, a work of art. In all, if we come back to Ashland for more Shakespeare Festival fun the PALM will be our first choice for lodging! Oh, and seeing a deer calmly grazing on the wildflowers added to the fun!

Summary: Lovely, quaint motel, that has been well-maintained and is very clean. Good location, can walk to downtown Ashland, but about a mile. The only frustration I had was with a mildly unhelpful person at the reception desk. I also needed to charge my Tesla but was told the Tesla charger was only for a particular cottage that I wasn’t staying in. Access to a level 3 charger but it was in use almost the entire evening. A little frustrating.

Summary: This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.

Summary: The room was not only spotless, but unique and very charming decor. It is like a little house and I wanted to stay another night just to enjoy reading in the little window nook!
