“This was the worst hotel in gambia. It started with the fee to check in early $1500 dalasi (no one can control when their flights come in) you should be able to check in early if the hotel is not full and your guys were definitely not full the 3 weeks that I stayed. We got to our room and the toilet wouldn't flush and we had no AC. After traveling I couldn't even stand in the room because I couldn't breathe. I went to reception and they were going to charge $1000 dalasi a day which would have been well over $20,000 dalasi for AC. There is no tea kettle, coffee or anything for your guests. EVERYTHING is a charge, so even though it's cheap all the extra fees add up to the stay being very expensive. The blankets and pillows are stained.blankets are rough from over usage. The "free" breakfast is a joke, offering only a limited amount and once food is complete they do not refill it. The gambian workers are expected to do mutiple jobs for very little pay. The grounds are horrible and everything is dying and there are no flowers.You should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing the corruption inside the hotel. You use old photos from the past to advertise on your website which does not truly let a guest know what they are getting into.I have never seen a hotel like this before. This should be a 1 star hotel for all the things you don't offer. I will post reviews everywhere I know so that someone can take their hard earned money to another hotel that treats their guests better.”

“The room was kept spotless by francis who went above and beyond looking after us. The whole hotel was spotless. All staff were nice and helpfull. ”

“Spacious room. Basic but clean. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Great pool area. Lots of trees and birds. Basic breakfast. We were happy for the price we paid”

“The Deluxe Bungalow was absolutely perfect for our needs and everything within it worked flawlessly. Sarah kept the bungalow spotlessly clean throughout our entire stay. Incredible Staff Service The staff were all nothing short of amazing. When we unexpectedly became ill during our visit, one of the incredible team members came directly to the bungalow, took our shopping list, and went to the supermarket for us. This act of kindness speaks volumes. I sincerely wish I could recall his name—that's what I mean when I say the staff at this hotel are truly exceptional! They treated every guest with the same level of outstanding care and consideration. A Perfect Getaway We will definitely be returning next year and planning a longer stay. My birthday trip was simply amazing. One final, but important, note: the air conditioning in the bedroom bungalow was perfect and, even better, was included in the price. “Very well kept grounds and rooms”

“No Air Con in the room just a fan. Money was lost from room and manager has declared there is a problem with thefts from guests rooms. We were not advised about this on arrival. Pool was tinted green on arrival. This may be due to late rainy season but would have liked to of seen attempt to clean sooner. Breakfast was very basic for all guests. Large construction going on behind apartment block. Pool view apartments being blocked by trees on many rooms. I know we used this hotel due to it being cheap but feel fell well below standard. Very tired property in need of lots of tlc to keep it running. ”
