Pavillon Bleu  |  Hotel in Olivet

Our stay at Pvillon Bleu was delightful. We have been before, and it is one of our favouite places. The setting, on the bank of Le Loiret is so lovely, and we were able to dine by the water. The welocme, as always, was warm, without being overdone. The room was large, and beautifully prepared, the bathroom spotless. Of course, dinner was superb, living up to its reputation of being one of the best restaurants around Orléans. All in all, a stay at Le Pavillon Bleu is a real treat.

Location is amazing with the possibility to for a great walk along the banks of the Loiret for outside the hotel. Really memorable. Bedroom and bathroom cosy, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is charming a restored "Guingette" and even out of season a great spot to stop over. The owner's wine cellar is stellar. Star were accommodating. Food was pleasant and breakfast good too. We would recommend and will be back!

Le Pavillon Bleu is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable, (TV, Tea making and soon). The situation, nestling against Le Loiret. The restaurant is exceptional, everything beautifly prepared, and presented, with a splendid range of wines to accompany the dishes. The patron and his staff are friendly and so professional. Le Pavilion Bleu is one of our favourite places to stay. If you want a real taste of France, this hotel, and its restaurant , is for you. I cannon recommend it enough.

What a lovely find. Just 10 mins from the motorway. This old building has huge rooms, bath /shower. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Lovely views of the lake with great walks after a long journey. However the best is left to last, the restaurant! If you want excellent food and a wine list to die for, this is for you. This is not a cheap restaurant but you will not be disappointed.

Amazing place. Right on River Loire. So pretty. We eat in the dining room it was absolutely gorgeous. Fine dining and staff were brilliant

Room overlooked the car park even though it was booked some months before. We could not have our evening meal on the veranda overlooking the river so went elsewhere and still a couple of tables free later in the evening.

Delightful location. Let down somewhat by rather tired rooms. Ours was too hot with no air con. However the food was excellent

This is my second overnight visit prior to driving to the Channel Tunnel. My overall assessment is excellent. The location by the river, the high standard of the restaurant, both food, wine and service plus the high standard of room facilities is the reason for my assessment. Would recommend! Anthony Evans
