Summary: Room was in need of updating. Bathroom needed updating. No shower, just bath and a shower hose. Could no open windows and the outside of the windows were boarded with wood to block the street view, I guess. Very dark room. Definitely was no worth the price I paid.

Summary: Great location but a vastly overpriced smallish room with a view of the back of the building. It's a cafe/ restaurant primarily so the breakfast was a choice from the main menu and didn't open til 9. No option of cereals/ yoghurt/ toast etc. We had lunch on day of arrival and service and quality of food was good. For breakfast/brunch they seemed to have half the number of staff and whilst the staff were doing their best it seemed painfully disorganised and therefore very slow . As a regular on the table next door said, you don't come here for the service, you come for the view

Summary: Unfortunately I stayed on a Monday/ Tuesday when the bar and restaurant are closed so cannot give a review of any amenities. The room key was in a key lock external to the property.
Room was clean and tidy and would definitely stop again but not on the days the bar / restaurant are closed.

Summary: This is an amazing place to stay. All of the rooms are very well presented and the staff are very attentive!! Would highly recommend and Barton on Sea is a beautiful place. Very relaxing 😊

Summary: The room was very nice indeed, lovely big and comfirtable bed, just slightly cold on a February day even though the radiator was on. Also the TV in the adjacent room was too loud, which would have been annoying if we hadnt been getting up early anyway or if we'd wanted to stay in the room the evening before. radiator was one.

Summary: Staff were very courteous and greeted us well, showed us up to our room and told us how we could get in contact with them if we needed anything
In the bathroom bin there was a white cigarette butt
The shower head was broken and the black out blind had to be pulled down and then wound up manually
Not major issues but worth mentioning

Summary: Very uncomfortable bed. Light in bathroom broken. No shower curtain so couldn’t use shower without a flood. Very noisy. Breakfast was poor; barely warm. Service in restaurant the previous evening was poor; waited ages to place order. Later, after a 30 minute wait to order a drink, I ended up getting up and going to the bar where I was ignored for another 5 minutes. Very disappointed with the experience

Summary: Overall the stay was a disappointing. The room was a little tired with furniture quite marked in places. Damage to the window which meant that it couldn’t be closed property creating a draft. The kettle was also full of limescale The biggest negative was the Purbeck room overlooks the kitchen and with the extraction system coming on at 5:30am we were woken up and sleep after that was impossible. The restaurant food and service however was very good.
