Peralada Home with Private Pool  |  Villa in Perelada

We had a great stay at this house in Peralada. The rooms are generously sized, the garden is beautiful and the pool was a definite highlight.The location is great too. Peralada is a beautiful little village full of history, and there’s a big Carrefour just 10 minutes away by car for anything you need. The inclusion of bikes was a fantastic bonus—we loved riding around and exploring the area.Just a couple of things to keep in mind: there were quite a lot of flies during the day, and the twin bedroom is accessed through the master, which worked fine for us as a family, but may be less ideal for a group of friends.Overall, a great base for a relaxed family holiday.

The house was perfectly located for our son's wedding on the Perelada estate and access to the golf course - both within easy walking distance. The house itself was lovely - perfect for our adult family, with three large double bedrooms and a twin room in the eves, accessed through the master bedroom - ideal for a family with children! The house was bright and airy, with all the equipment needed to help us feel entirely at home, and with a great terrace for relaxing in the shade. The garden was super for games (again, some kit provided at the house) and the large swimming pool allowed us to swim and cool off - with plenty of space overall. The free bikes with helmets were in good condition and enabled us to get out and explore the area at our leisure. Lastly, Albert our host was brilliant, flexible with arrival time and available with advice and support whenever needed. A great stay that complemented our wedding experience and left us with memories to treasure! Thanks!

We had a wonderful holiday in a beautiful house. The property is very large and very well maintained. It must also be said that the house was very clean. The owner of the house Albert is an incredibly polite and courteous person. He makes every effort to ensure that his guests have a wonderful holiday in his house. The house is well equipped with everything you need and much more. The property is located on a very quiet street and is built in a gated and guarded area. You don't have to worry about security as the security service regularly patrols at night. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this villa.

This is a superb villa well looked after by the owner with a great private pool. The villa is really homely but also professionally presented. The villa was really clean and well maintained and perfect for our family with young children. The villa is located in the small town of Peralada, which gave us easy access to the coast with paying coastal rental prices. There are a couple of great small restaurants in the town, including a low key place called el centre which is well frequented by locals. We did a day trip to Barcelona which is an easy one hour train ride. Our favourite beach destination was Platja de Lafrance, a 1 hour drive but worth it- get there early. Thank you Albert who is a great host.

We stayed at this wonderful villa last week; four adults and two 13 year old boys. Albert emailed a week before our arrival with lots of information about Peralada and the surrounding area. He welcomed us on arrival and was a pleasure to deal with throughout. He even came to see us off when we left at 0730 for the airport! The villa is large & very comfortable and has everything you need - I would say the pool is larger than average too. You can walk in to the centre of Peralada in less than 15 minutes. It’s in a very quiet area & feels totally safe. The town itself is beautiful, narrow streets that all seem to be on a hill! The bakery in the centre is dangerously good! Other recommendations are the winery (we did the tour, which was superb & surprising) and the restaurant Pagus de Peralada (la Timba is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had). We tried to get a table at Cal Sagrista too but it was fully booked (you need to book at least a week in advance for a Friday night in August…). It was a fantastic week & over far too soon. I think we’ll have to go back….

A great property for both golfers and those looking to tour the region. We went to see the area, sample the wine, visit Girona and the Spanish coast, have great weather and great food. It ticked all those boxes and more, a lovely pool, great location and the owner was fantastic with all questions and helped us booked things locally.

We (family of five) had a fantastic stay in Albert’s villa in Peralada. Communication was smooth and the house, garden and pool was great. The bbq in the garden works very well! Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot and when tired, also made use of the WiFi ;-) The area is pretty with closest by (walking distance), the pittoreske town of Peralada. But also Figueres, Girona and Cadaques are easily reached. If coming with the kids, the waterpark Aquabrava is a must do, it Will make their holiday, it sure did for ours!
