Positive:
The property has cosy, clean & comfortable rooms, beautiful view from the balcony and very helpful and hospitable staff as well as the owner, Prayag, who stopped by to make sure everything was ok. The meals prepared by Dipen were delicious and he ensured that he kept in mind the dietary constraints of my elderly parents. Upen, the other staff member, also made sure that we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to people looking for a quiet , relaxing stay, surrounded by greenery.
Summary: A relaxing stay in a cosy home, with a very hospitable owner and very helpful staff.

Positive:
Food they prepared was good simple n homely and the location is a beautiful place indeed along with services of good staff. Its clean and nicely maintained
Negative:
A slightly lesser amount of money could have been charged for a 1 night stay and no in house barbecue amounts 900 rs which I suppose is a bit highly priced also morning tea was only served with breakfast which was not expected when we were supposed to leave much earlier than our scheduled departure time.Bear bottles were charged double as they bought it from the market for us.so in a nutshell it could have been a lesser amount altogether for a 1 night stay
Summary: Stay was good but could have been better considering the value for money

Positive:
The place was truly beautiful made even more so by the presence of the host, Prayag, and the caretakers, Upendra and Dipen. The food that was cooked for us every day of our stay was truly amazing. And all of it fairly priced. The property itself was very well-maintained and offered great views on clear days. Upendra and Dipen set up a barbeque and bonfire one night, which was a highlight in itself.
Negative:
The heating arrangements fell slightly short for the three rooms. But to say that it was a problem, would be unfair. When told, Prayag graciously got us a spare heater that helped greatly.
Summary: Overall, a wonderful place with wonderful people. It's an experience I would recommend for everybody

Darjeeling Shenanigans at Pine Retreat Resort
If you’re seeking a dreamy Darjeeling getaway with jaw-dropping views, Pine Retreat Resort is your top pick. I showed up with six friends and left with a heart full of laughter, thanks to cozy rooms, gracious staff, and enough tea to fuel our late-night UNO marathons.
The panoramic mountainscapes felt so real, we half expected eagles to snap selfies with us. The rooms were comfy, featuring plush beds perfect for burrowing under thick blankets while sipping fragrant tea. The resort’s local menu? A winner! Momos and spicy curries had us rolling back to our rooms in a blissed-out stupor.
Meanwhile, the staff must have graduated from the “Hospitality Hall of Fame”—they greeted every spill, question, and silly request with a genuine smile. Whether you’re hiking to secret waterfalls or simply gazing at star-studded skies, Darjeeling’s magic is inescapable. Pine Retreat Resort just amplifies it with easy-going vibes and perfect vantage points for sunrise ogling.
Bottom line? Pack your sense of humor and appetite, because you’ll leave with new inside jokes, a phone bursting with photos, and a serious tea addiction. Pine Retreat Resort is a Darjeeling gem—one you’ll be bragging about long after you bid farewell to the Himalayas.

We were two families traveling together and Pine forest retreat was great for us. Prayag is a perfect host. He and the team took care of our every need. The food is amazing, much better than any meal you'll eat outside. The propert is very clean, comfortable and cozy. There's beautifull view from the balcony and tourist aytractions are a short drive from there. Very recommended stay.
