“This was a very laid back spot that was both convenient for visiting the nature all around (the lagoon cruise is a short walk away, as is the village) as well as for crossing the river into the town. (Come prepared with a few 50c coins if you don't want to pay $1 each time to cross the river, they somehow never have change). The food was delicious, and I enjoyed having a large, cold beer on their balcony in the evenings, as well as swimming during the day. The room was spotless, large, and very comfortable, and I could have comfortably spent much longer than the 2 nights I visited. Also the mobile internet connection was amazingly fast for this area (over 100M/sec) so I could have worked from here had I anticipated it would be faster than in most Ecuadoran cities.”
