“The reception staff were lovely. The breakfast was very basic and we didn’t have high expectations. Obviously it was way out of price during carnival (probably double of what it’s worth) but we were grateful for having been able to book 3 nights at last minute after a cancellation they had. The aircon worked well, the shower had low pressure but worked fine. The room is relatively small and had no tables nor surfaces, so we had to place our things on the floor. The balcony was spacious. What bothered me a lot was all the noise mad by the cleaning staff early morning including music being played so you better be an early riser otherwise you’ll be awaken by the cleaning staff cleaning a room not far from you.
The location is great, close to the sea, close to historic centre. TV was small but it worked well. Overall it’s cute, just overpriced. ”

“The hotel was basic in facilities but it was clean and the owners friendly.
It is close to the beach so a swim before breakfast is a must.
10 minute walk to the historical part of Paraty where there are many good restaurants and tasteful shops. ”

“It was fine for the $50 cad/night. Clean. The staff was friendly, there was a breakfast. Location was good and central. It is a noisy building that was the only drawback”
