Sometimes, these visitors find their way inside. This is a byproduct of where we the house is settled. If you are squeamish about these things, this may not be the retreat for you!

The bed is comfortable. The cottage is in a beautiful & peaceful setting, & it is conveniently located near shopping & restaurants. We very much appreciated how responsive & caring the host is, always responding quickly to messages, & wanting to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. There is a train track nearby, but the trains don’t go by very often, & the sound didn’t bother us.
The cabin is old but very adequate for our needs. You do hear the trains but you do get used to them. The surrounding area is peaceful and private. Our host, Jamison, was wonderful! He answered all my questions promptly and was very gracious.
