Provo River Inn | Hotel in Provo, Utah

“This is an older hotel that is currently undergoing some updates. The location was perfect after dropping my granddaughter at BYU. For the price point I was impressed by the comfortable bed, clean room and amazing front desk staff.”

“Location is under remodeling and so parking is limited. Construction workers start nice an early so does the noise. We have stayed here several times with good results. We will stay again hoping the work will be done.”

“Currently under construction. Woke up early. The construction team woke up earlier.”

“Under much needed construction”

“It’s a pretty cheap option but still extremely outdated. The AC did work well even in 100 degree heat outside. Many of the amenities like ice and breakfast were not available. The sheets had stains on them. The pillows were tiny and no extras were available. Housekeeping only comes every three nights. Hallways are very smelly and the rooms at least smell better but not great.”

“Need improvement. Room was very dirty. The location is good , but that’s the only positive about this hotel”

“I really want to like this hotel since it is huddled away on a private road and the buildings around it give it an out of the way private feel even though it's in the middle of Provo. No working pool it's just filled with construction equipment. The carpets in the stairs and hallways is terribly dirty. The rooms felt bare and old, no pillow covers on the pillows and the bathrooms are old, they look old and feel old. And you can see where things that used to be there had been taken off the walls and old hooks or metal or possibly the aftermath of old shelving was left on the walls. The room just felt old and dirty. I did see some signs of possible renovations but until they fully complete I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.”

“There were stains all over the sheets and floor. The property appears to be under construction, so rooms were actively being worked on during our stay. The coffee area was under construction, so there was no breakfast option. Upon asking, the front desk worker asked us, if we had a coffee pot in my room, which we didn’t, prompting him to apologize and say he couldn’t help us. I would never stay here again”

“room was filthy, we found food, napkins, fake nails, stains, etc. Pool/spa was closed.”
