Pullman Cairns International | Hotel in Cairns Central Business District

I was there by myself for an overnight stay, but it was amazing. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere makes it comfortable. My room was amazing and I for one appreciated the aircondition in my room.

For an older hotel that looks like it’s been done up. It was very comfortable and had a beautiful pool area. The breakfast buffet was great value though it was the same menu every morning. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Plenty of room with a balcony that looks directly at The Reef Casino. Lovely crisp linen and towels, great decor and very efficient room service! Staff were all great, good access to CBD, 10 min from the esplansde. Beautiful reception on arrival

Sometimes you just want to splurge a little on accommodation, so I went with a bit more upscale with Pullman Cairns International and selected a room with balcony and view of the bay. Room was clean and spacious, with a bathroom that had a bathtub and shower. A nice firm bed and plenty of flat surfaces to put your things. And with refrigerator too. Thank you to Larissa at the front desk for assigning me a great room that is quiet and comfortable that I didn't feel like going out (almost). Breakfast is buffet style and was $35AUD if you book it the day before, but it had many options. And well worth it if you want the convenience. Location is close to the pier (for Great Barrier Reef cruises, etc.), and within walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the night market, farmer's market and train station. Not to mention restaurants and stores nearby. Definitely worth a look for luxury and convenience.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly. Had dinner in dining room. Wine was off but staff replaced with a fresh glass. Food okay. Could have been better for an International Hotel. Room air con had a smell when on. Weather was great so did not turn air con on.

A great place to stay and enjoy Cairns.

We stayed for one night and it was a nice sized room with a small balcony. My husband pointed out that the TV was rather small and there were stains on the sheets and the furniture upholstery. We didn’t use any of the amenities, but we could see the pool from our hall and it looked very refreshing. The best part of the hotel is that it was walking distance to the Great Barrier Reef tours. Overall, I would stay there again, but it was just average and I would look for another place near that location before rebooking this hotel at the price we paid.

What is there to say? The location was very central, the whole experience was wonderful. Beautiful building, Beautiful lobby, excellent rooms. I highly recommend it and would return myself.
