Summary: The hotel seemed good value for money and included a good breakfast. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Good smart TV. Room was adjacent to the road so a little noisy but not much problem for sleep. Fish and chip meal was excellent quality. A negative is that car parking in the near car park is short term and Hotel does not refund. The long term is some 5 minutes walk away with meters but due to last years flood the meters did not work and the parking was free. Will probably end one day.

Summary: My daughter and I had the most amazing stay at the Punch House. The staff we met were lovely and we felt really at home. Food and drinks served were delicious, prices very reasonable and it was a real adventure for us to stay overnight in an old inn. Thank you so much :-)

Summary: Lovely hotel on market square in central location. Great room, comfortable and clean. Wonderful breakfast. Good value for money. Best of all was amazing welcoming and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Summary: Helpful, competent staff. Room fine, although inevitably hot in the weather pertaining. They DID leave me a good fan and the window was wide open when I got in.
Bath/shower had good handles and non-slip surface (unlike some much more expensive places). B&B rate included an ENORMOUS breakfast. I opted for the “small” breakfast. Was good enough for anyone but a lumberjack.
Location very central. Parking close by (once you figure out the back alleyways).
Pets allowed for an extra charge of gbp 15 per accommodation, per stay service animals are welcome, and are exempt from fees food and water bowls are available
