“Dirty. Majority of the staff was very friendly. However the man that seemed to be the manager was very rude.”

“Pool was clean and open! (Nice because lots of places lately the pools are closed or filthy.) Breakfast was standard: packaged muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, bagged scrambled eggs and sausage links, waffle machine, juices and coffee/tea. Shannon at the desk was VERY helpful as we were traveling with elderly parents and the requested handicap accessible rooms message never got sent to the hotel. NO ELEVATOR and the booking was going to put us all on the second floor, with no wheelchair access! Hotel itself is old and run down. Carpets are stained and filthy. Layers of dust on the walls and curtains. Curtains stained and broken. Everything smells like old cigarettes even though it's a non-smoking facility... some rooms much worse than others. We cleaned the air intake filters on the AC in our rooms. First night a roach ran up the bed, and a tree frog (???) was in the bathroom (I don't know... maybe fishermen used the room before us???). *Desk help was hardworking and did all they could to accommodate us and everyone else.* Owners need to have a DEEP clean done in all the rooms and halls and carpets.”

“Staff was helpful but 1) pool was closed 2) our room was not ready / clean, so we were assigned another one. Breakfast was good!! Clean beds and bathroom. Good enough. Close to the border!”

“The staff was at the desk were very nice but the hotel itself needs some attention. The outside is a bit of a mess (trash overflowing etc) and the treadmill was broken. There was a smoke detector in one of the rooms that literally chirped for three days. The pool and breakfast were fine and it’s a decent place to stay if traveling with your dog as its pet friendly. ”

“Hotel hallways seemed dirty and unkempt but the room was thankfully clean. Simple breakfast offerings like cereal, yogurt, muffins, waffle maker, hot scrambled eggs, sausage links. Same variety both days of stay. Pool was okay for the kids. ”

“The staff was very nice but the hotel needs care. The treadmill was broken and there was a smoke detector literally beeping for three days. Our first room keys didn’t work so we got another room. Those keys were randomly turned off in the middle of our stay. It was easily fixed but slightly inconvenient. The continental breakfast was not bad. No a bad stay overall but there are some things that need to be addressed. ”
