Quiet spacious room Reviews
Reviewer Type: Couple
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The host, an older and very friendly Dutch man, was a highlight. It was a great opportunity to see what a typical Dutch house looks like. The biggest surprise was the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. The location is relatively close to the metro station.
Negative: The neighborhood looks a bit run-down. However, even when returning from the metro close to midnight, we didn’t encounter any issues. It’s quite difficult to find a free parking spot (we arrived on a Saturday evening), but there is a P+R parking lot near the metro station that I recommend (only €6 per day, plus €6 for round-trip metro tickets for two people). Just note that you need to check in first, as after parking at the P+R you must use public transport within an hour.
Summary: Great value for money

Positive:
Since we had a small child with us it was really convenient that breakfast was served to our room. The host looked out for us when other guest were being noisy which was highly appreciated. A cot was provided with the added bonus of a baby sleeping!
Negative:
the staircase was very steep but that is too be expected and the rooms had windows above the door which made it nice and bright during the day but difficult with a toddler at bedtime when other guests turn on the landing light.
Summary: Cosy and considerate
