Radisson Beach Resort Larnaca | Hotel in Oroklini, Larnaca District

“The hotel itself and the lobby look great — they are well kept, clean and give a very good first impression. However, considering this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, I was very disappointed with the condition and cleanliness of our room. There was a blood stain on the bedsheet, which we only noticed the following morning. We reported this to the manager, who assured us that all the sheets would be changed. However, when we returned, the bed had simply been made and the same stained sheet was still on it. We spoke to the cleaner, who said she had not been told to change the sheets, so we asked her to replace everything, which she did. The bathroom was also disappointing, with unusual stains on the walls and what appeared to be black mould around the shower silicone. By the second day, there was also a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The breakfast was very basic, and given the price of a three-night stay, I found the overall experience underwhelming and certainly not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. To be fair, the manager did send us a bottle of Brut as a gesture, which we appreciated. However, this did not make up for the issues we experienced during our stay.”

“Nice hotel all in all. We were with two small children and stayed 2 nights, unfortunately our room wasn't cleaned, and also no water was provided. when I had to walk to the reception to ask for water late at night as we ran out. They mentioned the person who can bring it will only get back in half an hour (was surprised the receptionist didn't just go to the bar to bring us bottles of water as I mentioned we are with small children) Was already too late and I felt it was ridiculous waiting 30 mins for water, I ended up just buying overpriced water from the bar, I mentioned the experience while checking out to a manager or shift manager (unsure) she was very nice about it and gave us a voucher for the bar. Pool towel policy is way too strict and hard to understand why (we didn't bring 1 towel back which was in our room and they were fussed about it), again, while the towel girl sees us with 2 babies. Might have been unlucky timing with staff. Overall expected much much more from Radisson and a rather expensive hotel”

“There is a big construction of the main road in front of the hotel, which is not their fault but it should be mentioned somewhere. Not easy to access the hotel and the neighborhood.”
