Summary: The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of Riga, surrounded by two beautiful parks. It's an architecturally interesting building with plenty of character and has all the potential to become one of the city's best hotels.
At the moment, though, the interior feels quite dated. The carpets are old, stained, and worn, and the hotel would really benefit from a renovation.
That said, this didn't have much impact on my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the greenery outside. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
With a modern refurbishment, this hotel could easily live up to its full potential and attract even more guests, especially business travelers. Its fantastic location and distinctive building deserve an interior that matches.

Summary: This is a reasonably priced, well located hotel with tired decor and no atmosphere.
Our room had all the essentials needed - clean, comfortable, excellent triple glazing so very quiet at night and a good, hot shower.
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was average.
Absolutely fine for a three-night stay.

Summary: Hotel is in a great location but poorly maintained, rooms are not really clean, the phone in the room and the TV do not work, I spoke to the reception, they did not take care of anything. The room was not cleaned, and despite the high price for the stay, they charged an additional fee for parking. Rude

Summary: I stayed 3 nights at the end of May 2026 with a room upgrade with a view of the old town.. unfortunately I could see very little through the trees (room 509). However the room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The complimentary mineral water and coffee machine were a nice touch. The surrounding area seemed quiet and it was a calm haven after busy days sightseeing. All the staff I came into contact with were super polite and as helpful. Definitely recommend
