Reenskaug Hotel places you in central Drøbak, right by the Oslo Fjord, with the waterfront and the town’s easy pace close at hand. It is a practical base for time in the area, with Drøbak Aquarium a short walk away and the all-year Tredgaarden Christmas House nearby. Staying in these Hotels means you can move between the fjord, the center, and local stops without needing much planning. The setting feels local and direct, with the water always part of the view. Guest rooms are modern and individually decorated, and the details are geared to an easy stay. Expect free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, a Nespresso coffee machine, a work desk, parquet floors, and a private bathroom with a shower. Some rooms also offer an ocean view, and the overall feel is polished without being fussy. It is the kind of place where you can return, set your bag down, and keep the day moving. Shared spaces add a relaxed rhythm to the stay. You can start with breakfast, then pause for a drink at the in-house bar or on the garden terrace. Paid on-site parking is available, along with restaurant service and pet-friendly accommodations upon request, and the property also offers accessibility features, wheelchair access, and business services. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, making it straightforward to work or plan the day between outings. On foot, Drøbak feels compact and easy to read from Reenskaug Hotel. The fjord-side location keeps the stay grounded in the town’s center, with practical access to nearby sights and a calm return at the end of the day. It is a stay that feels close to Drøbak’s everyday rhythm, with the water, the walkability, and the hotel’s measured comfort staying with you.

Great breakfast! Didn't expect salmon and shrimps (skagenröra) at a 3-star hotel. So very satisfied. Great service as well, very pleasant people working there!

Positive:
I had a very good stay at Reenskaug Hotel. The reception staff were very attentive, and they kept my luggage safely until check-in time. The room was comfortable, clean, and I appreciated the Rituals bathroom products.
The dinner and service in the restaurant were excellent. The waiter was very attentive, explained the dishes clearly, and even offered to translate anything into English if needed.
The same waiter was also working during breakfast. I asked if they had nut-free bread, and although they didn’t have any available, he immediately looked for a solution and brought me delicious toast. The effort to find a safe option for my allergy was greatly appreciated.
Negative:
The only downside was the lack of nut-free bread options, but it was resolved quickly thanks to the staff.
Summary: Great service and a very comfortable stay
