Positive:
The architecture and history, and the owner. It’s a gem!
Good was some of the best I’ve had. Home grown veggies in the summer!
Negative:
Naturally with a location in nature you get some little ants coming into the rooms. But nothing major that would put me off staying there again.
Pool could be bigger with such a great amount of space available but great size for taking dips too cool off in the heat whilst tanning.
Summary: Magic and unique stay

Positive:
We had the warmest welcome and a fascinating stay. Erminia was so welcoming and full of the most interesting information. Thank you to her and her family for sharing their home with us. We had dinner there twice and on both occasions the meals and wines were absolutely delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the home made cakes with coffee.
Negative:
The property was delightful and an historic gem, but we did find it to be quite a challenge to get there on the narrow roads. That said, we are planning to return sometime soon!
Summary: An historic gem with wonderful hospitality and delicious food and wine. A must visit….!

Positive:
It is a spacious former hilltop monastery with some catered rooms, while we stayed in a comfortable self-catering apartment with its own kitchen. It is a beautiful estate often used for weddings and offers spectacular views of the bay of Naples, Vesuvius, Ischia, and the sunsets are unmatched. The owners have revived it from semi-abandonment to a stunning place for guests, with olive groves, play areas, swimming pool, chef-prepared delicious dinners overlooking the bay, and an option for a pizza masterclass using their ancient oven. They have a clear love for the place and are happy to share its rich history, from monks to royalty and Nobel prize winners.
Negative:
It's up a hill with long narrow roads making for challenging driving, but most roads are like this in the area, and generally locals are patient with tourists.
Summary: Stunning hilltop estate with incredible views.
